We live in a fast paced world, running from one day into another. Stimuli are overwhelming and our minds are dominating. Especially at work and behind our computers, we tend to spend lots of time in our heads! This easily creates a disconnect with our bodies, leading to stress and dis-ease. 

Luckily, there are lots of ways to restore balance and self-heal our bodies. And yoga is one of them. 


Yoga means union. Through the physical practice of yoga, we are able to create a healthier body-mind relationship. We learn to become still, listen and witness the needs and signals of the physical body. We learn to restore, balance energy, self-heal and establish better physical and mental health. 

Vinyasa Yoga

This is a dynamic and active form of yoga in which we connect movement to breath. We work with muscles to create strength, and soften and stretch to create space. 

Yin Yoga 

In yin yoga, we work with the deeper layers of connective tissue called fascia. We allow muscles to relax fully, to soften and create space in the fascia. This is a static and meditative form of yoga in which poses are held for a period of time (e.g. 3-5 min) to create greater flexibility in the body, stimulate energy flow around joints and practice stilling the mind.

About Ruby

Ruby has a big passion for sharing her learnings with students, in a private, classroom or corporate setting. She is especially driven to inspire office workers to self-heal and release physical and mental stress, having witnessed and worked in professional environments herself and having experienced the many benefits of a yoga and meditation practice. 

Ruby is a 330 hours certified yoga teacher (InYoga & Powerliving Sydney, Yoga Alliance Accredited) and has completed a wide variety of workshops and trainings over the past years. She teaches Vinyasa and Yin classes at Yogatime Bondi.
